- Your list can have files associated with it.
- These are normally files or documents which are of long term
value, or documents which are too large to be sent an email messages to
a list.
- Files may be conference reports, papers, lists of relevant resources,
hints and tips, or anything which is deemed relevant or interesting by
the people on the list.
- Files are stored indefinitely by Mailbase, unlike email messages sent to the list.
- Both list owners and members can contribute files to a list. If you
have a document you wish to make available as a file associated with a
list, please contact the list owner
- List owners are responsible for adding, removing and updating files.
- Files can be plain text, postscript (ready for printing on laser
printers) or RTF (rich text format). At the moment you cannot put binary
or word-processed files on the Mailbase system.
- List members can use either the Web or email to get copies of these
files.
- Every Mailbase list which appears on the web has a link to Other
Files. This is where files belonging to the list can be found. For
