I'm not sure which it is either, but I heard Antonio Dammasio
(neuroscientist and author of Descartes Error) talk a couple of weeks ago,
and in his explanation of the role of emotion in the reasoning process he
said something that sounded a lot like the fundamental postulate and the
construction corollary--I wish I could quote him exactly.
