Before I get to the end of the pile of mail that is in my electronic
mailbox, I am sure that someone else will have rqsponded to your query about
the putative Kelly quote, "Man is a form of motion.:
The quote as I have it is, "Four our purposes, the person is not an
object which is temporarily in a moving state but is himself a form of motion."
That quote appears on page 33 of the 1991 Routledge edition of vol one
of Psychology of Personal constructs -- in the discussion of the fundamental
postulate.
Kelly might have altered that quote and then used it at another point,
but I would go with this one -- if I were to be using the quote.
Jim Mancuso.
