I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
I am trying to locate any references on PCP that directly or indirectly
relate to the measurement of 'knowledge creation' within individuals, groups,
and organizations. The specific objective is to discover/devise valid and
reliable measures for studying the incremental/discontinuous creation of new
knowledge. Your help will be much appreciated in this process! Any comments

A brief description of my research framework is provided below for your
perusal.
My current research emphasis is on studying the knowledge creation processes
in individuals, groups, and organizations. Based upon a preliminary review
of George Kelly's PCT, I am anticipating that the changes in construct
systems could be used as surrogates for knowledge creation. Given that PCP
can be used for studying individuals and groups, I am hoping to use the
instruments of PCP (such as the repertory grid) for measuring the construct
systems of individuals/groups across time. Currently, I am not sure how
the construct systems could be determined at the organizational level, but
am assuming that it might be possible to extend the notion from group level
to organizational level of analysis.
There are two specific issues that I need to address. First, define
'knowledge' in terms of PCP. Second, define 'change in knowledge' or
'knowledge creation' [over time] in terms of PCP. I am aspiring to do both
w.r.t. the organizational level of analysis, while realizing that
individual level tacit knowledge is the key enabler of this process.
I may need to elaborate on my construal of 'knowledge creation'. Within my
assumptive framework based on discontinuous change literature, new
knowledge is created by continuously questioning the existing knowledge
(something like double-loop learning). In other words, it does not only imply
reinforcement of previously existing 'knowledge', but also a process of
unlearning and creating new knowledge.
Are you aware of any articles that have used PCP in a similar context? Are
you familiar with any work that has been done on this issue or related
issues?
