Update 2.i.19
At last! I've started migrating the useful content of this site to a WordPress site. To avoid mapping problems the new site is at https://www.psyctc.org/psyctc/ and www.psyctc.org now redirects there and to get this page, the portal of the old site, you have to come to www.psyctc.org/index_old.html.
Update 26.xi.17
Well just over a year this time between update notes. Again, a few small changes but the main ones in the last month in the BSQ pages mounting a paper of mine that is probably very pertinent to translations of the BSQ, the Doctoral dissertation by Dr. Melanie Bash (nee Taylor) that created the BSQ and the Lithuanian translation (of the full BSQ and all the approved short forms) done by Dr. Audrone Miskinyte.
Update 1.xi.16
Another 18 months have passed! There have been some small changes here in that time but the main thing to announce now is that there is a sub-site www.psyctc.org/pelerinage2016/ which is all about my cycle ride from London to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Lots of reflections on things that have driven me in creating PSYCTC.org over the years crop up as I cycle. If you like or dislike anything, do post a comment on the blog!
Update 2.i.14
Happy New Year! Crikey, no updates to the front page in three years: underlines how little time I have had for this site in recent years. There hvave been some changes in the stats pages but nothing much else at all. Anyway, big announcement today is that the CORE instruments are now in full Creative Commons, Attribution, No Derivatives licencing so are free for anyone to reproduce in software as they have always been free to reproduce on paper. Full details on the brand new CORE System Trust (CST) website which will be developing steadily through the year ahead (so probably still few changes here though now I know how to use WordPress, perhaps it's time the whole of www.psyctc.org were swept away and replaced with something better and of the 21st, not the 20th, Century!
Update 7.i.11
Since 2007 there have been a number of small tweaks and new things on this site, mostly at
http://www.psyctc.org/stats/
and I have just implemented honeypot attached to the www.projecthoneypot.org network as my small contribution to reducing Email spam.
However, the latest big development is that a website for PSYCTC.com is now
up and running. PSYCTC.com is led by Jo-anne Carlyle, who has, over the last decade
or so, also been a great help in creating PSYCTC.org and I'm a minor player in PSYCTC.com.
Do have a look at the site
Update 30.viii.08!
Malay translation of the BSQ mounted
Update 10.vi.07!
It's unlikely that I'll ever have a great deal of time to maintain and update this site in the foreseeable future
so the paragraph below still applies. However, there are is one small and one large good development:
I don't intend to spend time on much of the site so most of it will remain a historical archive
really, however, I do hope to expand the R statistical and psychometric utilities over the next
few years so I hope there will be things of current utility as well as historical interest!
Historical from 2005 and way before
This site is the very out-of-date transfer of the site I created
when I worked at St. George's. It is devoted to psychotherapy,
counselling and counselling/psychotherapy research and provides
information on
- things
in Britain,
- things
in Europe and elsewhere in
the world
I will be overhauling it comprehensively but that probably won't come
until the new millenium (and might last another millenium!).
For now the following gives
some picture of what's here.
Last updated 7.i.11. If you
