Statistics for accesses of these pages

AAARGH -- 18.vi.96 -- nothing is working at the moment!

My adaptation of musage isn't working at the moment and I can't immediately see why not. I'll need some time and cool thinking to sort this out and haven't got either so ignore all references to access statistics anywhere in this site for now (that includes the rest of this page)!

It's 20.xii.96 now and I never did find the time or the cool thinking so I've replaced the pointers to statistics compiled using musage3.prl{77kb} derived from Nick Phillips' excellent MUSAGE Perl script to statistics compiled using WUSAGE, an excellent commercial product. However, I may yet manage to resuscitate my musage3 script if I find some time.

I also have the simple graphical presentation of statistics by week from the GETSTATS C program:
- for all files {<1k} and
- for the intro.htm file only {<1k}
The figures for the intro.htm file are less influenced by changes in the number of files I have mounted so they're probably a better indicator of trends in accessing although an increasing number of accesses are probably by people who go direct to the specific things they want to see rather than through intro.htm so I think there's a slight and increasing underestimate of the access rate in whatever trends appear in there. I'll try to cobble musage2.prl to give weekly trends indicators like this for specific subdirectories when I have a moment.

Finally, I am still running the complete cumulative GETSTATS stats {<1k} from GETSTATS C in case anyone prefers that format to the musage2.prl format.
