Thank you for referring me to Dr. Sakamoto at Ochanomizu University. He has
been very helpful. According to him, there have been a few published
reports in Japan on PCP, but most of those appeared in the late 1970's.
Only a couple have appeared in English, and from those two only one is still
extant:
Hiroke, K. (1978). Studies on persona perception (I): The relationship of
cognitive complextity to social interation. Tohoku Psychologia Folia, 37,
102-115.
By the way, Dr. Sakamoto has written a book and some articles on PCP in
Japanese, and will give a presentation later on this year in English at the
APA convention.
